How do I begin my course?

I already have an account on the Illinois STAR NET website.  Click on LOG IN, enter your email address and password.  This will take you to your dashboard.  Find “Redeem a Voucher’ and enter the voucher code.

I do not have an account on the Illinois STAR NET website.  From the homepage, click “Create an account” and follow prompts.

What should I do if I have lost my password?

Please click on the “Contact Us” form and someone will get back to you during normal business hours.  

Where can I find my Voucher Code for my course?

Please refer to the confirmation email you were sent after registering for the course.  The Voucher Code is located in the email.  If you cannot find your email, please use the “Contact Us” form and someone will get back to you during normal business hours.

How long do I have to complete this course?

Most courses during the 2026-2027 school year will close on June 30, 2027 at 3:00pm.  All coursework must be completed at this time.  Please refer to your confirmation email to check you specific courses schedule.

When will my Certificate of Completion be available to me?

Within 14 business days of completing the course, including the ISBE survey, your certificate will be in your STAR NET Region IV account.
